At cheap-flights.live, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. In accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time.
This page explains how you can delete your account and personal data, what data is deleted, and what data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes.
1. How to Delete Your Account and Data
You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data through any of the following methods:
1.1 Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the cheap-flights.live platform:
- Log in to your account at cheap-flights.live/login.
- Navigate to Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion by entering your password.
- Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted.
1.2 Email Request
You can send a data deletion request via email:

- Subject line: Data Deletion Request
- Include the email address associated with your account so we can identify and process your request.
We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 calendar days of receipt, in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR (Right to Erasure).
1.3 Facebook Login Users
If you signed up or logged in using Facebook, you can also request deletion of your data through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Click Apps and Websites in the left menu.
- Find cheap-flights.live in the list of active apps.
- Click Remove to revoke access and trigger a data deletion request.
When you remove cheap-flights.live from your Facebook connected apps, we will receive a deletion callback and automatically process the removal of all personal data associated with your Facebook account.
2. What Data Is Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Account information: Your email address, name, hashed password, and account settings.
- Travel preferences: Departure airports, destination preferences, budget ranges, and all custom route configurations.
- Communication preferences: Notification settings and email preferences.
- Usage data: Your interaction history, deal views, alert clicks, and session data.
- Support correspondence: Any support tickets and associated communications.
- Subscription data: Plan type, subscription status, and billing metadata (excluding records required for tax compliance).
3. Data That May Be Retained
In certain limited circumstances, we may be required by law to retain specific data even after an account deletion request. This includes:
- Billing and tax records: Transaction records and invoices may be retained for up to 10 years as required by applicable US federal and state tax laws (Internal Revenue Code).
- Legal obligations: Data that is subject to an ongoing legal hold, regulatory investigation, or pending legal proceeding may be retained until the matter is resolved.
- Fraud prevention: Minimal data (such as a hashed email identifier) may be retained to prevent re-registration by users who were banned for fraud or abuse.
Any retained data is kept in a restricted, secure environment and is not used for any purpose other than the specific legal or regulatory obligation that requires its retention.
4. Deletion Timeline
- Self-service deletion: Your account is deactivated immediately. Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 calendar days.
- Email requests: We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days of verification.
- Facebook callback: Deletion is processed automatically within 30 calendar days of receiving the callback from Facebook.
- Backup systems: Data in routine backup systems will be purged in accordance with our standard backup rotation schedule, which does not exceed 90 calendar days.
5. Confirmation
Once your data has been permanently deleted, we will send a confirmation email to the email address associated with your account (if still accessible). If you submitted your request via email, we will reply to confirm that the deletion has been completed.
Please note that after deletion, your account cannot be recovered. If you wish to use cheap-flights.live again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have additional rights beyond the right to erasure, including the right of access, rectification, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. For full details about your rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your deletion request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. You can find your local authority at the European Data Protection Board website.
